Herstory Weekend: March 22 & 23, 2013



I will be participating in the 9th Annual Herstory Weekend on 
Friday, March 22, 2013 from 7 pm - 11 pm
offering Tarot Card Readings as part of the fund raising efforts. 


9th Annual Herstory Weekend: 

Description: Fundraiser for Single Parents’ Scholarships Benefiting Students at Southwestern Illinois College 

Time: Friday March 22 & Saturday March23, 2013 ; 7:00pm– 1:00am both evenings $8 admission per night / $6 with TOCO donation  (Purchase Tickets Here)

Featuring: Music, Art, Dance, Hair Cuts for Cancer Survivors In Honor of Women’s History Month

March is National Women’s History Month & organizers of the 9th Annual Herstory Weekend are gearing up for another exciting celebration in Belleville; just 20 minutes from the Arch! Delectable libations & clever conversations abound!

Herstory Weekend offers extraordinary women in the metro area a unique arts event with a diverse female featured schedule including: Kim Massie & the Solid Senders (Best Female Vocalist 2005 & 2009); EarthSol featuring Kim Vrooman (Best Female Vocalist 2003); CaveofswordS featuring Sunyatta McDermott (Best Female Vocalist 2004); Rebecca Ryan (Best Female Vocalist 2007) ; Bible Belt Sinners featuring Molly Simms (Best Female Vocalist 2010); Bottoms Up Blues Gang; Sarah Jane & The Blue Notes; Allie Hulen; Broken Cookie; Erotic Rhythms Belly Dance; Michelle Mynx Academy Student Dancers; & Cosmic Collaborative with members of the St. Louis Hoop Club.

There will be a Champagne Reception at Pitchers honoring TOCO’s Women of the Year and Young Artists Award Winners on Friday March 22nd at 6pm. By RSVP / invitation only! Honoree's include Herstory Month at SWIC Founders: Karen Jobe and Barb Hunter; Local business owner Karen Nowak of Circle of Health Wellness Center; Susie Schrage a Madison County Women's Advocate; Lauren Mormino, a young talented local artist; and Allie Hulen a young talented local musician.
