Stay where Your Feet Are

As I begin each day, I remind myself, “Melody, stay where your feet are.”
If I keep my attention on the place where my feet reside, I have a better chance of remaining in the here and now. What’s here and now is all there is, so we’re told.
Although it's exciting to look forward to the future,the real joy comes from focusing on the present and savoringing the present moment. Each moment of life offers us the blessings of love, humor, stories, messages, healing, and happiness.
Today, take time to savor every moment that you experience. Note details of each situation and every human interaction. Focus on the minute details of what you see, feel, think, and hear. Find the humor within each situation. Allow yourself to feel the emotions of each moment--be consciously aware of the here and now. Cherish it!
